The Museum of English Rural Life (The MERL) at the University of Reading, UK, hosted the triennial congress of the International Association of Agricultural Museums — AIMA 2021 — online. Now The MERL invites both AIMA and UK-based RMN members to come to Reading to see the Museum and hear about recent developments addressing environment sustainability, colonialism, and reinterpreting our collections to include more diverse rural and urban communities. Speakers include RMN and AIMA members. We look forward to hosting this international networking opportunity. The preliminary Programme for Back on Track – facing twin challenges of the 21st Century includes the schedule and some speakers for the 9-11 May event.
